About Vivarta

Health is personal. Understanding it should be too.

Vivarta grew from the belief that better health decisions start with better understanding: of your body, your circumstances and your options.

A simple question

Vivarta Health grew from a simple question: what if we understood our health better before something went wrong?

We want to make clear information and appropriate support easier to access, helping people take an active role in decisions about their health.

The word Vivarta comes from Sanskrit and is associated with transformation: a change in how something is seen. That is what we hope to offer: a clearer way of looking at your own health.

Health is more than the absence of illness.

It is having the physical capability, mental wellbeing, energy and independence to live the life you want, now and in the years ahead.

Our founder

Why I created Vivarta

After more than two decades working in healthcare, I have seen how often our relationship with health begins only when something has already gone wrong.

We are very good at responding to illness. I believe people should also have the chance to understand their health earlier, recognise the risks they can influence and make informed decisions about their future. That thinking led to Vivarta.

I wanted to create a different kind of relationship with healthcare: proactive, personal, and focused on the whole person rather than a single test result, symptom or treatment.

For me, good health is not simply about living longer. It is about remaining physically capable, mentally well, independent and able to enjoy the life you have worked hard to build.

What we believe

Our commitments

Understand first

We start with you, your history and your concerns, before talking about tests or treatments.

Evidence matters

Recommendations are based on clinical judgement and the best available evidence, and change when good evidence changes.

Be honest about uncertainty

We say clearly what is well established, what is still developing and what is not yet known.

Recommend what is appropriate

We recommend advice, tests or treatment according to your needs. No treatment where none is needed.

Vision

To help people better understand their health, make informed choices and stay actively involved in their own wellbeing.

Mission

To bring together clear information, appropriate assessment and evidence-informed support, shaped around the individual.

Understanding comes first

Today, and for the future

We start by helping you understand your health today, so you can make informed choices about looking after it for the future.

Our approach brings together an understanding of your health, appropriate recommendations and review as your needs change.
